Wendy: One of few women licensed in AMA superbike (Wendy Epstein), having ridden as an independent at Daytona, driven sidecars at the Isle of Man and more. She owned Mission Motorcycles in San Francisco garnering a reputation as a supporter of all things motorsports. She’s flagged formula one in Texas and motorcycle races at Laguna Seca. Since retirement, Wendy’s continued her passion with team ownership, guest driving and more in the series “24 hours of Lemons”.
Amanda: 24 Hours of Lemons teams “pit-mom” of choice. Amanda has been pit manager to several podium placing teams in true 24 hour races. In passion for the automotive experience she’s restored an original 1962 mini, doing all but the bodywork herself. Her passion for motoring revolves around “experience the roads less travelled”, to that, she’s a top placing veteran of 2/3 of the “Lemons Rally” – road rallies that cover ~ 2300mi of US backroads in the course of five days.
In participating in the Maroc Challenge, we are expanding our passion for the motoring experience in a world-wide exposure. We will be on of few all-women teams competing for the “Trofeo Femenino” in the Challenge, and certainly their first United States team.
We look forward to the opportunity to represent women in motorsports and to be models for our racing friends at home.
